Stories of Old
Colors and composition largely stolen from a Gustave Doré painting. No one uses color like this in mainstream media.

CICFF!
This one comes a few days late due to some major internet issues. I'm attending the Chicago International Children's Film Festival through next week, which was gracious enough to accept the short film I was recently a part of.

Fall is Here
All moved in to some temporary housing in the Chicago area. To celebrate, I spent some extra time on today's sketch.
4 1/2 hours, including two restarts.

Medieval House
Probably no new drawings the rest of this week, as I'll be packing and otherwise getting ready for a move to Chicago. Here's an older drawing I never posted.

The Breakfast of Champions
A nice long sketch to start off the week. Motivation remains high when you know you can consume your subject afterward.
1 1/2 hours.

Painter is a Pain
No drawing today as my file got corrupted right after I saved it. I'm gonna try and recover it....
EDIT: I managed to get the thumbnail; that's it. Apparently, Painter X likes to corrupt .PSD files at random when saving them. Which is perfect, since it already crashes at random when I try to work in its naitive .RIF format. I'm beginning to hate this program...
At least you can see what it's supposed to be. Yesterday I was at my first soccer match at the new LiveStrong Park in Kansas City, MO. Now blown up to mega-size for extra pixelage!
1 hour (plus another hour unsuccessfully trying to recover it)

Crabapple Tree
Thursday, September 22. Second sketch of the day; the first one took twice as long and I didn't like it half as much.
30 minutes.

Day 1
I'm starting a couple days late, so here's my first one. I drew this in Chemistry class, and took the head from Sean Cruse who was sitting directly in front of me.
